      <image:title>Instruction - Social Commentary Narrative Vases</image:title>
      <image:caption>Inspired by contemporary artist Grayson Perry, Ceramic 2 students at NWHS created narrative ceramic vases in response to a social issue they felt passionate about. This project culminated in students sharing their vase forms on the social media site Instagram using the hashtag #nwsocialcommentary. In addition, students were instructed to write their artist statement describing their social issue in a sentence supported by key phrases they want to call out with additional hashtags. This supports my action research project that explored the integration and implementation of technology within the high school ceramic arts classroom.</image:caption>
